Kindred Group has struck a deal that will see its Unibet brand become an official partner of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Unibet will obtain a variety of marketing rights and custom content designed to enhance the customer experience.

Unibet will utilize its official partnership status to execute marketing campaigns across its group’s digital betting products.

The operator will also gain in-game advertising through digital enhanced scoreboard technology, as well as benefit from marketing placements on NHL digital assets, and gain rights to use NHL trademarks, logos, and official name.

Sportradar, the NHL’s official betting data rights partner, will support the partnership. The NHL is using Sportradar’s Ad:s data-driven marketing solutions to develop sports betting partnerships outside of North America.

“Through this collaboration, we hope to boost interest in the NHL. It will be very exciting to follow the NHL in the years to come,” said Philip Lagström, Unibet’s Country Manager in Sweden.

Ice hockey and the National Hockey League are incredibly significant to Unibet, and they’ve been diligently working to become more involved. They aspire to be the premier destination for hockey wagering, providing the most exceptional, secure, and dependable gaming experience.

John Lewicki, NHL Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships, stated: “We’re thrilled to welcome Unibet as an official partner of the NHL. Kindred Group and its brands are renowned for their dedication to responsible gaming.

“We’re delighted to collaborate with Unibet to continue engaging our expanding Swedish hockey fan base.”
