SBM Appoints Albert Manzone as New CEO to Spearhead Growth Strategy

## SBM Welcomes New Leader: Albert Manzone to Guide Luxury Group

Experienced executive Albert Manzone has been chosen as the new Chief Executive Officer of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, the celebrated luxury resort company. Manzone, with an extensive background including senior positions at PepsiCo, Davidoff, and Novartis, will formally begin his duties on April 12th, as declared by Vice President Stéphane Valeri.

Manzone’s objective? To navigate the grand enterprise of SBM towards even greater success. He will supervise all operational facets of the group, encompassing the legendary Casino de Monte-Carlo, their esteemed hotels, fine dining establishments, and more. Finance, marketing, digital advancements, and human capital will all be under his direction.

This leadership transition also sees Virginie Cotta Magossian assuming the position of General Secretary. Concurrently, Pascal Camia, the present Chief Operating Officer, is taking on the role of Director of Global Expansion.

These designations arrive at a critical juncture for SBM, as the group undergoes a period of transformation. Essential roles, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Information Officer, are anticipated to be filled shortly, indicating a renewed concentration and drive.

It is noteworthy that Valeri himself was designated Vice-Chairman of SBM just this past January, succeeding the retiring Jean-Luc Biamonti. Conveying his eagerness, Valeri remarked, “I am privileged to take on this new capacity within our organization, with which my family and I have shared a deep connection for generations.” He further highlighted the strong base he inherits, stating, “Under the guidance of my forerunner, Jean-Luc Biamonti, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is currently in a very favorable economic and financial state.”

It is with great appreciation that I acknowledge the board’s trust in my abilities. The significance of this role is not lost on me, and I am entirely dedicated to guiding this foundational organization to a future filled with even greater success.”

Pascal Camia, who holds the position of Chief Operating Officer within the group, recently participated in an interview with *Gaming Insider* during the ICE London expo as part of their “GI Huddle” series.
